Historic House,
"Tricketts is a lovely Victorian mansion whose magnificent ballroom was once used as the Children's Court. Today this historic building has been fully restored to its original splendour. Large bedrooms with high ceilings, all beautifully decorated, all with ensuite, have top range Sealy beds. Breakfast is served in the conservatory and in summer out on the secluded deck overlooking the garden with bottle brush trees providing a wonderful splash of colour. The tranquillity makes one forget the city is a short 431 bus ride away and Darling Harbour, Fish Markets, Power House Museum, the Chinese Temple and Sydney University are close by. Glebe is an historic suburb full of interesting old homes that have been lovingly restored; and old fashioned gardens giving strong overtones of a bygone era. We are at the quieter ""waterend"" of Glebe Point Road, and a little further up lies the restaurant heart of Glebe, well known all over Sydney. Off street parking is available. We enjoy providing a luxury homestay for travellers and business people. Also at Tricketts, the resident cat is Bandit, who ignores us all. Children over 12 in B&B. Tricketts is fully centrally heated and air-conditioned. All ages accepted in comfortable self-contained one bedroom garden apartment which sleeps four. We ask guests to smoke outside on verandahs. "
