"Encounter Hideaway has two self-contained cottages. Ruby and Bud Cottages are situated just one street back from the sea in the historic part of Encounter Bay, only five minutes drive from the centre of Visitor Harbour. Set in a charming garden, each cottage has a queen-size bed in the main bedroom, second bedroom, sparkling bathroom with a large spa, a well equipped kitchen with generous provisions for a cooked breakfast, a comfortable living room with A/C, TV, VCR, CD player, flowers, port and fresh fruit. Encounter Hideaway give you privacy in a delightful setting. A perfect spot to escape from the pressures of everyday life or a great stopover to Kangaroo Island. Parkfield Lodge is a traditional B&B overlooking the sixth green of the McCraoken Golf Course. The three well appointed bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed, two with ensuite and one with a private bathroom. This well-established B&Bs many guests have enjoyed the opportunity to relax and unwind, play a round of golf or just catch up on some reading in the guest lounge room with its panoramic view of the golf course and surrounding hills. A three-course breakfast is prepared daily by the host/chef and silver service dinners are available by arrangement. The city of Victor Harbour and the surrounding areas have so much to offer. Water sports, stunning scenery, nature walks, nearby wineries, galleries, Granite Island with its fairy penguins and famous horse drawn tram, to name a few."
