"Norfolk Bay Convict Station, built in 1838, was once an important part of Port Arthur convict settlement. Ships called here to transfer their passengers to the convict railway and you can still stroll or fish along the jetty in front of the house. We offer warm, comfortable rooms, a sitting room with a log fire and a wonderful breakfast. From here you can visit Port Arthur, drive the Convict Trail, walk in the Tasman National Park or, as we are licensed, relax on the front verandah with a glass of Tasmanian wine."
