"Follow the brick path through the rhododendrons, camellias and azaleas to your relaxing getaway in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. This charming house in the hills is less than an hours drive from Melbourne and well situated to explore all the treats the area has to offer. Fleurbaix is only a short walk to Sherbrooke Forest with its towering mountain ash trees and fern gullies. Walk in the nearby forest, ride Puffing Billy, visit William Ricketts Sanctuary, or just browse through the many craft & speciality shops in the area. Nearby Sassafras and Olinda have many quaint tea rooms and first class restaurants. Superb gardens abound in the area and many are open to the public. Fleurbaix embodies the fine art of Bed & Breakfast, offering two styles of accommodation, the Traditional Suite and the Garden Cottage, with privacy a priority. The Traditional Suite is a spacious separate wing of the 1930's home with private entrance for guests. The suite is elegantly furnished with antiques and has all the amenities for a memorable & relaxing stay, including a fire and spa. There is a kitchenette with some cooking facilities, but guests are treated to a beautifully cooked breakfast served discreetly to the door at your appointed time. The ensuite bathroom has an air-jet spa. The Garden Cottage is self contained and very private. Breakfast provisions are supplied for guests to prepare themselves. There is a Coonara wood fire and the ensuite boasts an air spa. Both rooms have TV, DVD, video CD player, fridge microwave, kettle, toaster and a warm and friendly welcome awaits you."
