Beaches or Watersports, Fishing, National Park, Restaurants, Walking Trails,
Experience the beauty of Jervis Bay and it's pleasant coastal climate at our multi-award winning guesthouse, just 50 metres from the incredible white sand beaches of Jervis Bay. Sydney and Canberra are just 2.5-3 hrs away, and we're walking distance from Huskisson’s shops and restaurants. It's the perfect place for a weekend-away or a mid-week break, and also as the first or last stop for overseas travellers visiting NSW.
There are four beautiful guest rooms, all with Queen-size beds and ensuites (one with a spa bath). French doors lead from the rooms onto the verandah, where there are spectacular views of the bay, and you can hear the sound of the waves on the beach.
Come and listen to the Kookaburras laugh, have a swim before breakfast in summer, or curl up in front of the wood heater in the guest lounge in winter. Walk on the beach and look for dolphins playing in the surf... go fishing, swimming or diving... go for a dolphin-watch cruise (year round) or a whale-watch cruise (June-July, September-October)... be dazzled by the whitest sand in the world... play golf on scenic courses... or hire bikes and explore the bike trails. One of the must-see places is Booderee National Park, where you can go walking, visit the amazing ruined lighthouse, picnic in the botanical gardens, see kangaroos and marvel at the many beautiful parrots. There's a lot to see, so try to allow at least two days.
Everyone knows Jervis Bay's a great place to visit in Spring and Summer, but the big secret is that it's wonderful in Autumn and Winter too. To celebrate this fact we offer a free lunch at Hyams Beach Cafe and free entrance to the Lady Denman Heritage Centre for two-night midweek stays from March-November (except school holidays).
